Food for Thought

Once there was an ant who said to the sparrow
"Show me the meaning of flight
for I perceive that flying is enlightenment."
Where upon the sparrow ate him.

Once there was a man who said to the Mystic
"I will not believe that there is anything
mightier than man unless you can show me proof."
So the mystic hit him with a rock.

The city dweller gazed about him and thought,
"How beautiful is the city"
Then he said aloud,
"Look at all that mankind has built alone,
truly we have conquered nature!
The pigeons laughed.
