Thelemic Prayer
From traditional Jewish sources, revised by Khoury

Refrain: "Every Man and every woman is a star." Come, my Beloved; let me do my Will.

"Obey my Prophet" in a single command, the Lady of the Stars announced to us.

"I am Heaven, and there is no other God than me and my Lord Hadit."

Therefore shall we praise the names of the Holy Ones of Thelema.

Come, let us go unto the Goddess and sing the rapturous love song, for it is a source of blessing.

From the very beginning it was ordained, last in manifestation, first in logos.

Shrine of Thelema, royal city, arise! Come forth from your ruins. Long enough have you dwelt in the valley of tears!

"Hear me ye people of sighing!

The sorrows of pain and regret are left to the dead and the dying, the folk that not know me as yet."

Shake off your dust, arise! Put on your glorious garments, my people, and pray:

"Ascend, Oh my soul, and be thou joined to my Will, that is the light from beyond the Abyss."

Bestir yourself, bestir yourself, for your light has come; arise and come unto Nuit!

Awake, awake, utter a song; the glory of the Heavens is revealed upon you.

Be not ashamed nor confounded. Why are you downcast? Why do you moan?

The afflicted of the people will be exalted; the city of light shall be built upon its ancient site.

Those who despoil you shall become a spoil, and all who devour you shall be far away.

Your Will rejoices over you as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride.

You shall extend to the right and the left, and you shall revere the Crown.

Through the advent of the descendent of Will we shall rejoice and exult.

Come in peace, crown of Kether, come with joy and cheerfulness; amidst the faithful of the chosen people come, Nuit, Hadit, Ra-Hoor-Kuit.

Thelema!

Aumgn!
