Embracing the Moon

Embracing the Moon

by Yasmine Galenorn

Yasmine is not a Wiccan, at least not in the strictest sense; she is, however, one of the most original voices to come out of the community lately. Her rituals and spells are new, not your run-of-the-mill rites by any means. It helps to have read a couple of other books before this one, but you can jump in without any prior knowledge and get along fine. This book and its sequel, Dancing with the Sun, are both an excellent introduction to Paganism. They're also grounded in reality, not going all "half-astral" and assuming you have way more time and money than you have for ritual accouterments and such.
